The Corning OptiTip MT Connector Cleaning Tool is used to clean the endfaces of MT connectors in the Corning FlexNAP MFC terminal distribution system tether and terminal stub assemblies. This system is also known as "MFC VATS" (Verizon Advanced Termination System). The cleaning kit comes with an attached lanyard assembly that contains an adapter for the MFC VATS terminal side (the "plug") and MFC VATS cable side (the "jack"). The lanyard also contains a dust cap. Pleae see below for picture of lanyard with dust cap.
